Event Systems UX Design Specs

For many mobile games, Events are a foundational pillar of core monetization. Run weekly or biweekly, these usually consist of special contest-type rulesets and temporary experiences that incentivize the player to maintain high levels of engagement and time, and to spend money to earn special rewards.

For the purposes of this project, it was necessary to design UX flows and mockups that would enable the user to complete their objectives and actions in an efficient flow, and allow them to access the necessary information from a central hub screen. This screen would present all key data in relation to the Event and the user's standing within it.

Mockups were constructed within Figma, and later put together into a Spec sheet, with arrow-markers and captions to guide the Engineers in hooking up the interactions within the Unity engine components.
