Blood Brothers 2 – Valley Background

A Battle Background scene created in Unity by positioning Sprite objects in different Layers in the Render Queue and utilizing 3D Particle Effects (Unity's Shuriken system) to give the appearance of an actual 3D perspective. Particle Count of course had to be very reserved in order to maintain high performance on mobile devices.

The Backgrounds had to also accommodate the presence of the actual characters and artwork on top of them. Layers needed to be adjusted so there would not be any obstructions to those elements.

Task

Create a Background of 2D Sprites that gives a sense of 3D Perspective with extra visual effects to make it seem "alive"
